Apivita Moisturizing and Cooling After Sun Cream-Gel Review

I really wanted to do this review within the summer, because it's a product I love using it for several years now! This is the new 2012 formulation, the one I had in the past was called After Sun Cream Gel with Fig and Aloe and the bottle came with a pump, even though the new one still contains fig it's called  Moisturizing and Cooling After Sun Cream-Gel for Face & Body with Sea Lavender and Aloe and it comes in a tube packaging, but both smell exactly the same!

Ingredients
Apivita is a greek company known for their natural beauty products, 96% of the after sun's ingredients are natural, it doesn't contain Parabens, Alcohol, Silicones, Mineral Oil, Propylene Glycol, Ethanolamines, Colorants, Phthalates, PCM, NM, and it's hypoallergenic. The main ingredients are sea lavender, aloe, fig, cucumber and almond oil

 Texture
The texture is exactly what it says on the packaging, it's a cream-gel, a little runny but very lightweight  and very refreshing, absorbs quickly and it doesn't leave any stickyness on the skin at all! Just a note here is that I've only used it on my body and not on my face, but I'm pretty sure that it feels lightweight on the face too.

Price
It costs 11.5 euros for 150 ml, and in Greece you can find it at pharmacies.

Pros
As most of the after sun products it claims that it soothes irritations caused by sun exposure, it hydrates and it offers cooling sensations, and actually it's the first product I'm using that whatever the company claims that the products does it's 100% accurate! I tend to burn very easy when I'm out on the sun and at the beach, whenever I'm using this product the burning sensation within one day is gone, and the redness dissapears within 2 days. But I have to use it about 3 times a day in order to work. I also found that it works on any kind of burns, even burns caused from the oven or hot water, it takes away the inflammation within a day, I'm really impressed!

One more plus is the smell, ohhhhhh the smell!!! And whoever smelled it even once will know what I mean! To me it smells exactly like summer, it must be the fig! It's such a tropical and summerish smell that I want to use it even at wintertime!

Cons
Absolutely NONE!

Overall Rating: 10/10. You have to try this product!

Too Faced Natural Eye Palette Review

I was never a premade eyeshadow palette person, I just love making my own palettes that's why I love Mac eyeshadows, and before that Stila and Artdeco too, because I can make my own personal palettes. Also in the past it was very hard to find good quality premade palettes with neutral shades. But that changed a few years ago when I saw the Too Faced Natural Palette! I bought it exactly 2 years ago, in the summer of 2010, and until now it's my favorite eyeshadow palette!

Day Look
from left to right: Heaven, Velvet Revolver, Sexpresso

Classic Look
from left to right: Silk Teddy, Push-Up, Erotica

Night Look
from left to right: Nude Beach, Honey Pot, Cocoa Puff

Shades
The palette contains:

Heaven - matte ivory
Velvet Revolver - matte taupe
Sexspresso - matte deep brown

Silk Teddy - peach champagne shimmer
Push Up - light bronze shimmer
Erotica - soft charcoal shimmer

Nude Beach -champagne shimmer with gold glitters
Honey Pot - gold shimmer
Cocoa Puff - warm chocolate brown shimmer

All the shades are the perfect neutral ones that you can wear for an everyday look at the office or at the school or for nighttime smokey looks! My favorite ones are Heaven - perfect as a browbone shade, Sexspresso - love using it as a liner, Push-Up- as a main lid color for bronzed looks and Cocoa Puff - at the outer corner and crease.

Quality
I really have to say that Too Faced makes one of the best quality eyeshadows I've ever tried! The matte ones are incredible pigmented and soft without being chalky. As for the shimmery ones, some of them have a few shimmers, some are frosty and some glittery, with Nude Beach being the most glittery one. Push-Up and Honey Pot are the frosty ones.

Packaging
The packaging of this palette is a little too thick, because under the eyeshadows there is a pull-out tray with a double sided brush/sponge in it, which in my opinion is completely unnecessery, and I'm happy that the new Too Faced palettes do not have that tray, that makes them more slim and slick. The palette also includes 3 "How To" cards with instructions for 3 looks, "Day", "Classic" and "Night".

Price
In Greece you can find this palette only at Sephora and it costs 35 euros, a little pricey I know, but it's worth it because it contains 9 gorgeous neutral eyeshadows that you can use everyday.

Cons
I don't have any complaints about this palette, maybe if it was slimmer it would be more portable but that it's not really a big compaint! Now for the eyeshadows, except for the Nude Beach which is super glittery and I never use, with the rest of the eyeshadows I'm more than happy, I use them everytime I do a neutral look!

Overall Rating: 9/10. I love this palette!
