Best of Beauty 2015 - Top 15.

Τελευταίο post για το 2015 και τι θα άλλο μπορούσε να είναι παρά από το τι προϊόντα ομορφιάς αγάπησα περισσότερο μέσα στο χρόνο, για την ακρίβεια τα 15 αγαπημένα μου προϊόντα για το 2015. Μπορώ να πω ότι δυσκολεύτηκα να βρω ποια προϊόντα θα έφταναν στο top 15 γιατί τον περασμένο χρόνο δοκίμασα πολλά και διάφορα προϊόντα ομορφιάς αλλά μπορώ να πω ότι είμαι αρκετά ευχαριστημένη με τις επιλογές μου. Τι λέτε λοιπόν πάμε να τα δούμε?

My Current Foundation Routine.

Hello my lovelies! I think it was about time to do a whole post about what face products I'm using and loving right now. These past few months I've been testing out lots of new foundations, concealers and powders and not only for my makeup, I've been testing out lots of new skincare products, but this is going to be a whole different post in the future. My main reason is because lately my face became more oily, so I've started a new foundation routine. I'm still trying to figure out which products are right for me but for my now this routine seems to work pretty well with my skin. 

January Favorites.

It's been such a long time since I've done a monthly favorites post, and that's because I wasn't trying any new products so I didn't have anything new to show you. But the past few months I've tried lots of new beauty products, and some of them are already HGs of mine! Not all the products are new though, some of them are staple HG products that I use all the time, and some are rediscoveries! I promise you there will be more monthly favorites posts this year!

Summer Lipsticks: Peaches & Corals

After my post about peachy and coral blushes, I wanted to make one more about lipsticks and glosses from the same color family, which happens to be my favorite!

1) Clinique Buttershine in Poppy Love

More of a soft nude bronze beige peachy shade with gold shimmers, with amazing glossiness. Actually it's the most glossy lipstick I've ever try. It reminds me of Mac's Tendertone lip balms!

 2)Chanel Rouge Coco Shine in Liberte

An orangey peach shade with subtle gold shimmers, you can go from a sheer to a more intense look.Although it looks glossy at first after a while it dries out my lips.

 3)Make Up Forever Rouge Artist Natural N36

A coral pink shade with a satin finish that feels super light on lips, the color payoff is intense but with a light hand it can look sheer. But it can be drying because of it's satin finish, so I like to use a balm under it.

 4)Mac Razzledazzler

An old fave of mine, which happens to be limited edition, like most of the Mac lipsticks that I like! It's a true cream coral peachy shade that leads to orange with a small hint of pink, non shimmery and glossy.

  
5)Mac Ever Hip

Another limited edition Mac lipstick, but I think they have repromoted quite a few times, that means it's a popular shade. A sheer coral pink with a little orange in, no shimmers and it's not as glossy as the Razzledazzler, because it's a Cremesheen while Razzledazzler is a Lustre.

6)Essence I'm Sailing

I got this Essence lipstick last summer, it was released with the 50's Girls Reloaded collection. As you can see the packaging is almost identical to a Mac lipstick. The shade is what I call true peach! No pink, more on the orange side but not too much, it doesn't have any shimmers and it's quite glossy. Too bad it was limited edition, but I got a back up since it was so cheap!

7)Dior Addict lipstick in 343 Miss Dior

A soft beige peachy shade with silver and gold shimmers, with sheer coverage,  actually too sheer to be called a lipstick, it's more of a balm lipstick but I like that texture a lot especially for  summertime!

I know we're in the middle of the summer, and if you're in Greece like me a very hot one, but it's also the season when make up brands present their fall collections. Make Up Forever's Black Tango collection includes rich vampy colors for eyes, lips and nails.

Aqua Rouge Lipstick

Make Up Forever launches Aqua Rouge, a long lasting waterproof lipstick. Highly glossy, concentrated lipstick that combines two applications in one:

• Step 1: the liquid lipstick delivers intense matte color.
• Step 2: the top coat provides a vilyl finish and protects the color.

For the Black Tango look Dany Sanz has chosen the Aqua Rouge in no.11 Dark Raspberry.

Collective haul ( Sephora, MUFE, Bourjois, Essence, Seventeen)

After a small visit to Sephora and a department store this weekend, I hauled a few things, not much though. At Sephora I was trying to decide if I should get one of the new Dior Addict Extreme lipsticks, but unfortunately none of the colors really cought my eye, so I went for the new Make Up Forever Rouge Artist Natural lipsticks. Sephora here in Greece brings only a few of the shades, I think they were only 12 or 15, not sure. As you can see from my haul, I LOVE peachy/coral lipsticks and lipglosses!

Sooooo what I hauled:

• Make Up Forever Rouge Artist Natural in N36 Corail Irisé
• Bourjois Effet 3D lipgloss in 52 Corail Idyllic, from the Spring 2012 collection
• Sephora I.T. Blending Brush
• Sephora nail polish remover
• Seventeen Super Shine polish 336, from the Spring 2012 collection
• Essence XXXL Shine lipgloss in 18 Sparkling Papaya

I have to say that I love the glossy and simple packaging of MUFE's lipsticks, they're really practical comparable to YSL or Dior's lipsticks. And I find it kind of cool that the logo is all over the packaging, on every side of it.

The N36 is a coral shade, with some pink and orange in it, with fine shimmers. The texture is sheer and smooth, it's somehow in the same category with lipsticks like Dior Addict and Chanel Rouge Coco Shine,  but not as glossy as them , and it's quite pigmented for that type of lipstick.

The 2 lipglosses I got they look kind of similar but they're not. Texturewise the Essence is sheer and watery, with sparkles in it, Bourjois is not watery, creamier with tiny shimmers. Colorwise the Bourjois has more pink in , but on lips they both look similar.

The Sephora I.T. Blending Brush is a really big and fluffy brush, not the typical blening brush type like Mac 224 or 217, which i already own, but I wanted a bigger one for my lazy make up days, it's also a good brush for highlighting the brow bone. I love the Sephora I.T. brushes, I also have 2 others, they have a really good quality with cool design!

The Seventeen Super Shine #336 nail polish is from their new Spring collection, it's a bright light pink (if that makes any sense!!), it looks kind of neon but it's not. The pic unfortunately cannot pick up the brightness of the shade.

As for the Sephora Smooth nail polish remover, what can I say, it's a polish remover! It's very effective comparable to others that I've tried, and it doesn't leave my nails dry, BUT it smells awful!!! It's really powerful and I cannot stand it.
