September Favorites.

I still can't believe September it's over, the weather here it's so hot that it feels like August, and I think that we won't have any fall weather at all we'll skip right into winter! Anyway, I didn't have lots of favorite products this month, especially new ones, most of them are rediscoveries from my make up stash.

Maybelline Color Tattoo in 35 On and On Bronze
This was my go to eyeshadow when I was feeling extremely lazy to do a full eye make up, I was just using this with some mascara and I was done. I love the taupe bronze shade, and when the fall weather will come I'm going to use it even more!

Mac Paint Pot in Nubile
I've tried lots of Mac Paint Pots and I didn't like them, but this one has the exact same shade that my eyelids have, it doesn't make them look white or yellowish like Soft Ochre did, plus it's super creamy, I only wish it wasn't limited edition

Urban Decay Naked Palette
I have this palette for several months but I just start using it, I'm not in love with all the shades (yet!) but the ones that I just can't stop using are Naked, Buck and Smog. I'm pretty sure that when I'll hit pan to these 3 eyeshadows I'll repurchase them in full size!

Garnier Roll-On Anti-Dark Circles
I got this one last March, and when I first tried it I seriously hated it, I didn't think that it covered my dark circles at all, so I left it in my drawer and not using it for several months. But last month I run out of my Seventeen Liquid Concealer and I didn't want to buy a new one so I gave this one a second chance and I actually changed my mind. This time it worked because I put two layers of it and that way it works. It still doesn't cover as well as my Seventeen one but it does a decent job.

Mac Sunny By Nature Mineralize Skinfinish
This was a limited edition Mac MSF, it was released with the Color Craft collection in the summer of 2009. It's a gorgeous non shimmery and non glittery MSF that I use as a bronzer when I want to look a little more tan than when I use my regular Estee Lauder one. It's propably the best MSF I've own so far.

Essence Silky Touch Blush in 30 Secret It-Girl
I'm really impressed with this blush, it's very cheap, costs only 3 euros. The color is a light orangey peach, the texture and the pigmentation are very good, super smooth and not powdery at all, I didn't use any other blush last month and I keep using it everytime I do my make up.

Chanel Aqualumiere lipstick in 61 Santa Monica
I just love the name of this lipstick, it makes me think of summer and beaches! Santa Monica is a very sheer peach-tangerine shade but very very pretty. I have it for a long time and I actually forgot that I had it until I was searching in my make up drawer and found it. I think the Aqualumiere line was discontinued a long time ago, that's too bad because the texture is very good, especially for those who like sheer lipsticks.

Chanel Chance Eau Tendre
The perfume I was using the whole September and still using is the Chance Eau Tendre, I have it for almost 2 years and I just want to finish it. It's a very cute perfume, light and flowery but for some reason I wouldn't repurchase it, propably because I'm not that into flowery scents.

Korres Olive Stones Deep Cleansing Scrub
I run out of my Korres Pomegranate scrub which I absolutely love, and when I saw that Korres released this one I decided to buy it, I think I've repurchased it years ago but they discontinued it and released it again in the mini skincare series. It's almost as good as the Pomegranate one, it does a very good exfoliation without being harsh, I don't think it's a deep cleansing scrub while the Pomegranate one is, but the smell is divine! I love the fresh smell of olives on my face, especially in the monring.

So have you tried any of these products? What were your fave products of the month? Let me know!

Summer Lipsticks: Peaches & Corals

After my post about peachy and coral blushes, I wanted to make one more about lipsticks and glosses from the same color family, which happens to be my favorite!

1) Clinique Buttershine in Poppy Love
More of a soft nude bronze beige peachy shade with gold shimmers, with amazing glossiness. Actually it's the most glossy lipstick I've ever try. It reminds me of Mac's Tendertone lip balms!

2)Chanel Rouge Coco Shine in Liberte
An orangey peach shade with subtle gold shimmers, you can go from a sheer to a more intense look.Although it looks glossy at first after a while it dries out my lips.

3)Make Up Forever Rouge Artist Natural N36
A coral pink shade with a satin finish that feels super light on lips, the color payoff is intense but with a light hand it can look sheer. But it can be drying because of it's satin finish, so I like to use a balm under it.

 4)Mac Razzledazzler
An old fave of mine, which happens to be limited edition, like most of the Mac lipsticks that I like! It's a true cream coral peachy shade that leads to orange with a small hint of pink, non shimmery and glossy.

5)Mac Ever Hip
Another limited edition Mac lipstick, but I think they have repromoted quite a few times, that means it's a popular shade. A sheer coral pink with a little orange in, no shimmers and it's not as glossy as the Razzledazzler, because it's a Cremesheen while Razzledazzler is a Lustre.

6)Essence I'm Sailing
I got this Essence lipstick last summer, it was released with the 50's Girls Reloaded collection. As you can see the packaging is almost identical to a Mac lipstick. The shade is what I call true peach! No pink, more on the orange side but not too much, it doesn't have any shimmers and it's quite glossy. Too bad it was limited edition, but I got a back up since it was so cheap!

7)Dior Addict lipstick in 343 Miss Dior
A soft beige peachy shade with silver and gold shimmers, with sheer coverage,  actually too sheer to be called a lipstick, it's more of a balm lipstick but I like that texture a lot especially for  summertime!

Swatches:
from left to right: Chanel Liberte, MUFE N36, Mac Razzledazzler, Mac Ever Hip, Essence I'm Sailing, Dior 343, Clinique Poppy Love

Do you like peachy and coral lipsticks? Let me know what are your faves!
Stay tuned for the second part with the glosses!

March Favorites

My first post about monthly favorites, and I seriously couldn't decide which products to include, since there are so many that I want to share with you, favorites from previous months too, but I'll do it in my next monthly favorites posts.

So these are only few of the products that I enjoyed using this month.

Face

First let's start with the 2 products that changed my whole foundation routine this month. Clinique Even Better foundation and  Sigma Flat Top F80 brush. Clinique Even Better foundation is not a new foundation of mine, I've had it for more than 2 years, but for some weird reason I didn't like it, I thought the texture was too thick and the color too pink for me. But when I decided to try using it again, this time with Sigma F80 brush,  I realised that all this time I was using it completely wrong, I was using too much that's why the color looked so pink on my face, you only need a bit and  the Sigma F80 does the whole job, because it applies the foundation evenly on my face. A perfect combo!
The color I'm using in Even Better is the 03 Ivory, I'm usually a NC25 at Mac's Studio Fix Fluid and NC20 at Pro Longwear, but both are too yellow for me.

Eyes

Too Faced Natural Eyeshadow Palette
I don't usually buy premade eyeshadow pallettes, I prefer to make my own, like Mac, because premade palettes always have a shade or two that I know I'll never use, but that's not the case with Too Faced Natural palette, all the shades are soooooo me!! I love neurals, it's what I always use (yeah I'm that boring!!) but I think they suit me best. The colors that I enjoy using the most from this palette are Heaven (browbone), Push Up (all over the lids) and Cocoa Puff  (outer half and crease)

L'oreal Lash Architect 4D Black Lacquer mascara
It's not my HG mascara but it's a decent one, very black, not clumpy, gives great definition, the fibres helps a bit with the volume. I'm using it for 3 months now and it didn't dried up yet, it's as good as new. One negative though ,it smudges after a few hours on my lower lashlines.

Seventeen Supersmooth Waterproof eyeliner #06
I love love love Seventeen's Supersmooth Waterproof eyeliners. Best eyepencils that I've tried for a long time, and I've tried lots of them. They're waterproof indeed, with great staying power, they're smooth and don't hurt my lashlines ( Are you hearing Mac?????)  The #06 is a dark matte brown with no red undertones, that they unfortunately discontinued, and I still haven't found a similar color from other brands.

Cheeks & Lips

Mac Fleurry Blush
One of Mac's best blushes EVER! But of course it had to be limited edition. Fleurry was released with Mac's Spring 2007 collection Strange Hybrid. It's the perfect peachy pink for NC20's and NC25s, and is a Frost. I don't usually like Mac's Frost blushes, but this one gives a really beautiful light sheen, that doesn't make you look like a discoball under sunlight.

YSL Rouge Pur Couture #06 Rouge Bergamasque
After a long search for the best "My Lips But Better" lipstick, YSL Pur Couture #06 won the battle. It's a light warm pink, not nude, with amazing texture, it's like you wear nothing on yous lips, and it's not drying at all. My favorite lipstick, that's all!

Bourjois Effet 3D gloss #05 Rose Hypothetic
In my opinion Bourjois has the best lipgloss texture, even from high end lipglosses like Dior,YSL and Chanel, a texture that is not too thick/sticky but also not watery. I only wish they had more colors. #05 Rose Hypothetic is a neutral pink, neither cool or warm, with silver shimmers, and it looks great on it's own or over any pink lipstick.

Skincare

Avene Cleanance Gel Cleanser
The cleanser that changed my life in my early teens. Not just a favorite of this month but a favorite for 14 years! It saved me from bad acne that I had since I was 6, and even though I'm still acne prone, my skin has completely cleared up. I can't reccomend it enough to anyone that has acne problems or just acne prone skin, or even just oily skin.

Nivea AquaSensation Day Cream
For years now, I'm searching for a moisturizer that won't break me out, 80% of the ones that I've tried broke moe out ( yeah I'm that acne prone), and if they didn't, they completely dried out my skin. I decided to try this moisturizer when they had it on sale for only 6 euros. Finally a moisturizer that doesn't break me out, or irritates my skin! It also helps with dry patches that I have from break outs. Sometimes it makes me a little oily but that's OK, because I mostly use it at nightime, at daytime I use sunscreen.

Korres Yoghurt Mask
The past few months I had some problems with irritations, itchyness and dryness on my skin, but still oily at the same time. This mask really helped with the itchyness and the dryness without being too heavy. It's also a good mask for summetime, after long hours under the sun. Yoghurt does magic for sun irritations.

Perfume

Chanel Chance Eau Tendre
I have this perfume for a year but I only like using it at springtime. Don't ask me to describe the scent because I'm really bad at describing scents, but I have to say that is really fresh and lightweight, with a hint of floral , I can't stand floral scents in general, they make me snizze all the time, but this one doesn't.

Sooo have you tried any of these products?? What were your favorites for this month? Let me know!
