March Favorites.

 I know I'm a little late with my favourites this time, but better late than never right? This time I have only beauty favorites to show you and they're just a few things that I've been using like crazy. Recently I did a make up clear out, I had to throw away stuff that were way too old and others that I never liked and used. That made me realised that I have to start using up the make up that I already have, so from now on I'm not so sure if I'm going to be able to show you monthly favorites because they are propably gonna be the same stuff every time, but whenever I'll have new things to show you I will definitely do a favorites post. So let's start!

 Bourjois Happy Light Foundation
I've already talked about my this foundation in my previous haul post here. I finally found a lightweight foundation that I can wear at springtime without making me look like an oily mess, it's so lightweight that sometimes I forget that I wear foundation. It gives a subtle glow on the face, it's not like any of the other "dewy" looking foundations that I've tried, it's glowy and matte at the same time, it makes me look more awake and fresh.

Shu Uemura Glow On Blush in P Peach 47
OK now this is an old blush that I rediscovered recently when I was cleaning through my make up drawer, and for those who remember you can see that it's old because it has the old Shu Uemura packaging, and I'm not so sure if they still make it. I forgot how beautiful this blush is, it's like a true peaches n' cream shade, my kind of shade, I'm gonna use this one a lot from now on.

La Roche Posay Cicaplast Levres
I got this about two months ago and I totally forgot to mention it in one of my haul posts, but I'm gonna do it now because I love it so much, it's propably one of the best lip balms that I've ever tried.
I was a huge fan of the original La Roche Posay Ciciaplast, and I was using it on my lips whenever they were super chapped and dry, and when I found out that they released a Cicaplast for the lips I knew I had to get it. It has a very thick- silicone creamy texture that glides onto the lips and makes them very soft and silky. Also it creates an amazing base for any lipstick, especially for those who have dry and chapped lips it's a godsend product.

Essence 50's Girls Reloaded - I'm Sailing
I've mentioned this lipstick a lot in the past, it's my HG peachy lipstick which unfortunately was  limited edition a few years ago. The shade is something between a peach, coral and orange, and the texture reminds me a lot of Mac's lustre lipsticks. It's the only lipstick that I use the most at spring and summertime.

Nivea In Shower Body Moisturizer Nourishing Cocoa Skin Conditioner
My last March favorite is this Nivea In Shower Body Moisturizer with Cocoa Butter, which smells divine! I'm not a huge fan of this whole "in shower body mositurizer" idea but the smell is so amazing that I had to get it. In general I hate cocoa butter products, I find the smell way too chocolatey for my taste, but this one is an exception, it smells like beach, hawaiian tropic and coconuts! If you ever see this product please smell it!

April Favorites.

I know it's been too long since my last post, and I'm a little late for posting my April faves now, but I wasn't in the mood for blogging with the Easter holidays and stuff, but now I'm back. I hope you all had a great Easter, for those who celebrated Easter yesterday of course! Oh and please excuse some of the bad pics, when I took them the light was so bad, and it was changing all the time!

Clinique Even Better and Mac ProLongwear foundations
I've mentioned these two foundations so many times in my blog already, but lately I decided not to use them individually, instead I mix these two together and that creates the best foundation EVER!
The Even Better foundation I find it to be too beige-grey sometimes and not super long lasting like the Mac ProLongwear, and the ProLongwear is too yellow on it's own and a little bit drying. So mixing them together I create the perfect beige-yellow shade that it's so much flattering for my skintone and the lasting power is superb!

Estee Lauder Bronze Goddess Soft Matte Bronzer
This is not only an April favorite but an all year round favorite, but for some reason I rarely mention it. This is the best bronzer I've ever used, and even though I always like to try different ones I always come back to this, because of the color and the texture. The brown shade it has it's not orangey or peachy, it's a warm brown perfect for skintones around NC20 and NC30. And the texure is just great, smooth and matte, and stays on all day. One more plus is that this compact is HUGE, it's 21 grams, double the size of most bronzers, I have it for 4 years and it's still going!

Shu Uemura Glow On Blush in P Peach 47
This is one of the very few Shu Uemura products I own, it was given to me as a gift many years ago, and I'm not so sure if they make it anymore. It's one of the prettiest peachy blushes I've ever owned, it's not a peachy orange shade but more of an apricot peachy one and it's super super soft! If you can get hold of it, please get it, it's amazing!

Essence I'm Sailing Lipstick
This is propably my most favorite Essence product I own, and the best lipstick Essence has ever released! The texture is identical to a Mac Lustre, and the color is so beautiful and peachy, and not so easy to find even at high end brands. But of course it was a limited edition shade 2 summers ago with the 50's Girls Reloaded collection, the good part is that I bought a back up!

Korres Mango Lip Butter
I love Korres Lip Butters, they have a unique glossy but balmy texture that it's not sticky and moisturizes my lips very well. Mango is propably my favorite shade from the whole range, but not my favorite taste because I hate mangoes. It's a true coral shade, perfect for summertime when you only want to wear some lip balm on your lips and nothing else.

L'oreal Elvive Total Repair 5 Conditioner
I never mention conditioners or shampoos in my monthly favorites because my hair's so weird and I change them all the time, because most of the times I can't even notice any difference on my hair. But this conditioner is seriously very good, it leaves my hair smooth and frizz free without making them feal heavy, even at the second day. And if you blow dry your hair you'll notice a huge difference on how easily you can straighten it!

Favorite Summer Peachy Blushes.

Peachy blushes have always been an addiction of mine, because that color is the one that suit me the most, on my cheeks and on my lips. In this post I include some of my HG for many years now, unfortunately I had more but they are finished long time now. Mac-wise my skintone is NC25, sometimes NC20 depends on the foundation, but since the rest of my body is lighter, keep in mind that the swatches I took are on a NC20 skintone.

Let's start with my an old favorite of mine, Nars Gina, which is also my only Nars blush. Unfortunately I had to depot it because something weird happened to the packaging, the rubber just melt off and it was disgusting, so I put it in a Shu Uemura empty palette I had for years. Gina is a matte true orangey peachy shade with no red or pink in, and it's super pigmented, I always have to be careful when I apply it. I used to have Mac Peaches, and it's a good dupe of Gina. I don't recommend it for skintones lighter than NC20, also it works best with warm skintones.

Next is Shu Uemura's Glow On P Peach 47. I'm not so sure if Shu Uemura still makes this blush, but I know for sure that the packaging of their blushes have changed, I have this blush for many years, it was a gift from an old internet friend. This is a true orangey peach blush, in the same shade category with Nars Gina, also matte, but it's not as pigmented or as bright as Gina. And it's also a tone lighter. This shade of peach is the perfect one for fair skintones, because of its satin texture is very buildable you can go from a super light result to a bright one.

Here's more of a peachy coral pink option, this is from an old Stila summer collection back in 2007 and it's a duo blush called Quaint & Coral Cheek Duo. Unfortunately it was limited edition but I'm pretty sure you can find something similar, most companies make peachy pink blushes.

Quaint is the lighter one at the left and Coral is the brighter one at the right. But the swatches I took on my fingers the lower one is the Coral and the upper one is the Quaint. Both shades are shimmery, Quaint is more shimmery and since it's lighter, on my skin it appears more of a warm pink highlighter. Coral is a very pigmented peachy pink shade. I like to use Coral as a blush and Quaint as a highlighter but sometimes I mix them together.

From Mac I have 3 peachy blushes that I love, if still had Peaches I would show you that one too.

First is a Mineralize blush, it's called Nuance. It's one of the first Mineralize blushes Mac released back in the summer of 2008 with the Sonic Chic collection. And I have to say that, this bunch of Mineralize blushes had the best texture that Mac ever had in their mineralize range. So smooth and not glittery at all.

Nuance is an orangey-bronze shade of peach. Because it has golden shimmers it gives a nice sheen on my cheeks and I don't need to use a seperate highlighter with it. It looks amazing on tanned skin, but if you have a lighter skintone,you can combine it with bronzer it will make you look like you had a tropical tan. I wish Mac will re-release it someday.

Next is also a limited edition blush from Mac, from the Hello Kitty collection back in 2009. It's called Fun & Games and actually is a Beauty Powder blush. It's not one of my HG blushes because it's very sheer, but it's a great blush for lighter skintones, especially for NC15's. The shade is so pretty, for me it's a true peaches n' cream shade. The finger swatch I took is the true shade after I really packed it on. But if you use a dense brush, like the Sephora I.T. Natural Foundation brush ( that's what I use) you will be able to make it look pigmented on cheeks. Also Mac's 109 brush is a good option.

Lastly from Mac, is Springsheen, which was included in my May favorites. It's a very pretty peachy pink shade, more pink than peach though, and it's a great option for those who are afraid of peachy shades but they want to try something else besides pink. It's a Sheertone Shimmer blush, that means it contains shimmers, it leaves a nice golden sheen and you don't have to use a seperate highlighter.

And lastly for a more cheaper option, the Essence Silky Touch blush in Secret It-Girl . It's a very pretty true matte peachy blush, even though I can see some shimmers in, on my cheeks they're not visible at all. I think it's a really good dupe of Shu Uemura's P Peach 47. And it's also quite pigmented for such a cheap blush. I can't reccomend it enough, especially for those who have never tried a peachy shade and they just want to experiment with a cheaper option.
