Essence I Love Extreme Crazy Volume Mascara Review.
Hello my lovelies! I'm back with yet another mascara review, I've been trying lots of new mascaras lately and I want to write reviews for all of them before Christmas time if that's possible. This review is about the most famous mascara from Essence, the I Love Extreme Crazy Volume Mascara which I'm sure lots of you have already used and love. But does it worth all the hype? Let's find out!
Brush/Formula
If you're not already familiar with this mascara, it has a really big/bulky plastic wand, in fact it's too big for my eyes that the first time I used it I actually poked my eye really bad, my eye was watering for a whole day, but I've learned my lesson, this mascara needs time and patience. It has lots of really small plastic bristles, I thought that they would help seperate my lashes well but they're not, I would prefer if they could be a little longer so they'd grab my lashes better. Now about the formula, I find the formula extremely dry, I though that this would be a a very wet mascara but I was so surprised when I first tried it, boy it was so hard to apply it! I don't know if that's the case with this mascara in general or is just my tube, let me know if you had the same problem as me.
Application
As I mentioned before, the formula is quite dry so it was kind of hard to work it on my lashes, also the really small bristles makes the whole application even harder. I need to coat my lashes with the brush many times so I can seperate them as much as possible, but the truth is that this mascara clumps! I thought that my previous mascara from Seventeen "The Stylist" clumped, but I was way too wrong, this one clumps way more. Besides all these problems the results are really dramatic, it gives lots of length and volume, it holds a curl for hours and doesn't smudge. So if you love dramatic lashes and in the same time don't mind them look clumpy, you will be very pleased with this one.
Price
It's such a cheap mascara, it costs only 3.5 euros, and let's be honest, you can't beat this price! In Greece you can find it at any store that sells Essence cosmetics, such as Hondos Center, Gallerie De Beaute etc.
Pros
-It gives a dramatic look to lashes, adds length and volume.
-It holds a curl for hours.
-The price is a huge plus, it costs only 3.5 euros!
Cons
-The wand is too big if you have small eyes, and you can easily poke your eye with it.
-It has a very dry formula which makes it hard to work it on the lashes.
-Besides the dramatic look it gives to the lashes, it clumps a lot.
Rating: 7/10
I know that many of you absolutely adore this mascara but unfortunately I wasn't impressed, I give it a 7/10 only because of the dramatic look it gives to my lashes and also because it holds a curl. I find the formula really bad and very hard to work with, it doesn't compare at all with the Essence Get Big Lashes Waterproof mascara which I really liked. But I really want to know what's your experience with this mascara, did you like it or not? Let me know!

Seventeen The Stylist Mascara Review.
Hello my lovelies! I'm back with the mascara reviews, and this time is about one that I purchased in July but I never showed it in a haul post, it's from a greek "drugstore" type of brand, called Seventeen. I don't have much experience with their mascaras I've only tried one in the past, the X-Traordinaire but I didn't like it at all. Let's see what are my thoughts about this one, "The Stylist".
Brush/Formula
This mascara has the standard/old school brush, with a full set of bristles really packed together. The size of the brush is more of a small to medium size which I find really good if you have small eyes or short lashes. I have noticed that a lot of mascara comes out with every dip, so I have to be careful and wipe some product onto a tissue before using it. This brush is not the best for defining lashes, it gives volume and length but it also clumps. It has a very waxy, and almost "mousse" type of texture, and that's also a reason why it clumps.
Application
It's not a very wet mascara, so it doesn't weigh down my lashes, but it doesn't really hold a curl for hours. I really love that feather-look it gives to the outer corner of my lashes, it makes my eyes look like they have more of an "almond" shape. As you can see it gives a bit of volume and length, but I'd say it's more of a volumizing mascara, I can see that my lashes look more full, especially on the roots. And I also have to mention that it's super black!
Price
It costs 12 euros, I'd say that it's not super cheap neither too expensive for a "drugstore" type of mascara. In Greece you can find it at any Hondos Center or Gallerie De Beaute store.
Pros
-It adds volume and length to the lashes.
-It's winging out the outer corners of the lashes creating a feathered look.
-It's super black.
Cons
It clumps, even with only one coat.
Rating: 9/10
Overall I really like this mascara, I really love the soft voluminous look it gives to my lashes and to be quite honest I don't mind the clumping. For me it's a great everyday mascara, of course you can built it up to a more dramatic look but it will clump like crazy. I may repurchase it in the future and I really wanna try more mascaras from Seventeen.
Have you tried the Seventeen The Stylist mascaras? Did you like it?
Let me know!

Essence Get Big Lashes Volume Boost Waterproof Mascara Review.
Hello my lovelies, how is your summer going so far? I hope you're all having a great time! I know I haven't done a post in a while and to be honest I don't have any excuse besides that I've been very lazy and I'm out of ideas for posts, but I hope I'll get through that phase really soon! For now I have a review for you about a mascara that really surprised me by how good it is, and by how cheap it it! Also it's waterproof which makes it perfect for the summertime.
Brush/Formula
Brush/Formula
I really like the simple blue packaging with the fun print on top, it makes it very appropriate for the summer. Now about the brush, let's just say that this mascara has a very boring/typical/old school but very huge brush which somehow works wonders! I would prefer if the bristles weren't that stiff, when I use a mascara I like to brush my lashes many times for more definition, but with this one I cannot do that. Don't get me wrong, it defines my lashes, it just doesn't define them as much as I would want to. The formula is a bit dry but that is something that I was expecting anyway, I find it reasonable for a waterproof mascara to have a dry formula. I haven't notice any smudging from the heat which is good but I haven't tested it yet with water to see if it's 100% waterproof.
Application
I always find waterproof mascaras to hold a really good curl on my lashes and this one is no exception, actually it's way better than others that I've tried in the past. Even though it says "volume boost" I didn't see much volume on my lashes but it did an amazing job at lengthening them, I don't think I've ever seen my lashes that long, I can easily compare it to my HG Sephora Lash Plumper mascara.
Price
This mascara is ridiculously cheap, it costs only 2.7 euros! In Greece you can find it pretty much at any Hondos Center store.
Pros
-It adds length to the lashes and it holds curl for hours.
- It doesn't smudge, even on high temperatures.
-It's ridiculously cheap.
Cons
-It has a huge and stiff brush which makes it difficult to really define the lashes.
-It doesn't add any volume to the lashes.
Rating: 9/10
To be honest I never thought that I would even like this mascara, and that's because I've tried the regular Get Big Lashes, the one in the purple tube, and I completely hated it! So I thought that I would hate this one too, maybe even more because it's waterproof and I don't get along with waterproof mascaras, but I was so wrong. Overall it's an amazing everyday mascara, yes it would be even better if it added a bit more volume to the lashes and had a better brush but the length that it gives and the amazing curl it holds for such a low price, it's definitely a winner!

Maybelline The Colossal Go Extreme! Mascara Review
I love trying new mascaras, right now I'm using Maybelline's newest addition to the Colossal line, the Go Extreme!, it was given to me a few months ago when I attended a Maybelline event. I've been waiting for a few months to open and try it because I've had a few ones opened already. I've been using it for about a month now and I have to say that I'm really impressed by it! Let's see why.
Brush/Formula
Before I talk about the brush and the formula of this mascara let's all appreciate how beautiful and fun the packaging is-yellow and pink-it screams summer to me! I think Maybelline did a great job designing the packaging of the new Colossal mascara. Now let's talk about about the brush, it has quite a big brush with a unique shade that is fat in the middle and more narrow at the tip, the small tip helps a lot grabbing the inner and smaller lashes and somehow it manages to wing out the outer corners perfectly. The really packed and long bristles define the lashes quite well and it doesn't clump at all.
It has a wet formula but that doesn't weigh down my lashes at all, I've also noticed that it doesn't leave them soft or hard, I'd say something in between it doesn't make my sensitive eyes tired after a while.
Application
It's really easy to work with this mascara, it coats all of my lashes and lifts them up, it holds a curl for hours with no problem. Also the shape of the brush really helps winging out the outer lashes creating a feathered look, the one that "The Falsies Flared" also from Maybelline completely failed to do.
I'd say that it gives more length than volume to my lashes, it also seperates them really well. If I coat them lots and lots of times with this mascara it does create a more dramatic look but I don't like doing that because adding more product it makes them feel very heavy, I only do that when I want more of a night time look.
Price
In Greece it costs 13 euros, it's less than the price of The Falsies mascara which is 15 euros, but I still believe that the price should be less than that. In Europe drugstore mascaras are way pricey!
Pros
-It has a really fun packaging.
-It gives length, seperates the lashes really well and it holds a curl for hours.
-It's winging out the outer corners creating a feathered look.
-It doesn't smudge, even many hours of wearing it.
-It's a great mascara for daily wear.
Cons
-I expected to give more volume to my lashes.
-It doesn't give an "extreme" look to the lashes, it's great for a daily look.
Rating: 9/10
In my opinion this is the best Maybelline mascara in the market right now, all the previous ones that I've tried from Maybelline disappointed me. I really enjoy using it mostly because of the feathered look that gives to my lashes, it makes my eyes look more awake. I think that if you don't have high expectations about the "extreme" look that it claims to give, you will definitely enjoy this mascara for an everyday use.
Have you tried the Maybelline Colossal Go Extreme mascara yet? Let me know what you think!

L’Oréal Mega Volume Miss Manga Mascara Review
Hello everyone, long time no see! I know I'm a bit late with all of these but I hope you had a great Easter and spring break time (for those who had one of course.) I'm back with a mascara review, a very popular one for the past few months, the L'oreal Mega Volume Miss Manga mascara. I've had it for such a long time, it was given to me as a freebie back in February at a L'oreal event, and because I already had so many opened mascaras I didn't want to use it right away, so I waited. I opened it about a month and a half ago and now I have a full opinion on this one. So let's start!
Brush-Texture
It comes with a typical "natural" brush like wand, the one that I always prefer, which has a cone shape and it's not too big or too small, I would say it's more of a medium size. The cone shape is very handy because it grabs all of my lashes at once, especially the inner ones. What I didn't like about this wand is how bendable and soft it is, I have to make sure that my hands do not shake at all otherwise I make a mess and that took me a while to get used to it. Also the really fat and weirdly shaped holder is not that practical, I prefer the smaller and rounded ones, they're much easier to hold.
Application
The results I have with this mascara now that is opened for about twon months are totally different from the ones that I had when I first opened it, and not because when I first opened it it was very wet and now it's more dry like it happens with most mascaras, but the exact opposite. When I first used it the formulation was quite dry and it was difficult for me to apply it, but after 3 weeks it's like it became more wet and I don't know how that happened but it did. But at first, when it was more dry, it hold a curl much better than it does now, it still does hold a curl but not as good as it used to.
When I took this picture I didn't apply the mascara really well that's why my lashes look that flat and straight, but most of the times when I use this mascara my lashes are way more curled than they look in this picture, and the curl stays throughtout the day. It seperates my lashes really well especially my lower ones, and it gives a bit of volume but it doesn't give any length, like my beloved Sephora Lash Plumper does. I haven't noticed any smudging with this one, and it's easy to remove it. But something that I noticed is that even though it doesn't leave a heavy feeling on my lashes I can't wear it for more than 4 or 5 hours, after that my eyes start to become very watery and red.
Price
Because this mascara was given to me by the company in order to try it and review it, I'm not so sure about the exact price but from what I've seen here in Greece the price varies from 12-14 euros, it depends if you'll find it on sale or not. That makes it the cheapest L'oreal mascara in the market right now, the rest of L'oreal mascaras cost between 17 and 20 euros.
Pros
-The "cone" shaped brush is such a huge plus for me, I have small eyes and thin lashes and this brush does an excellent job at grabbing all of my lashes at once and seperates them.
-It holds a curl for hours, even though you cannot see it in the picture I took because I propably did a bad application job, but it does hold a curl like a waterproof mascara.
-The price. It's cheaper than any of L'oreal's mascaras in the market right now, at least in Greece.
Cons
-It doesn't give any length on my lashes only a bit of volume.
-The wand's holder has a weird shape and it's not easy to hold it.
- Something about the formulation just doesn't agree with my sensitive eyes, after 4-5 hours of wearing it my eyes become watery, itchy and red.
Rating: 7/10
Overall it's a great everyday mascara that holds an amazing curl, but I had higher expectations about this one at least when it comes to lengthening my lashes. In my opinion L'oreal has other more amazing mascaras to offer, my personal favourite is the Mega Volume Collagene 24H which is a great mascara if you want more thicker lashes.
Have you tried this mascara yet? What are your thoughts? Let me know!

Sephora Lash Plumper Mascara Review.
Happy 2014 everybody! After a small break from blogging I'm back with a mascara review. I've been using this mascara for a long time and I wanted to share my opinion about it with you guys, and to be honest I haven't see that many reviews about this mascara on blogs or Youtube so it's a great opportunity to do one now. So let's start!
Brush - Texture
It comes with a typical mascara brush, it's not a plastic/rubber one, which is a huge plus for me, I rarely like the plastic mascara wands. The brush is more on the thicker side, but not too thick, and it has a medium to big size. Tthe bristles are really packed between them but they are super soft, you can definitely brush your lashes with it and define them with no problem.
The texture is what I love the most in this mascara, it's amazingly soft at first, it hardens a bit after half an hour, but when I first apply it it's so soft that I can brush my lashes with it many times in order to achieve the look that I want and define them even more. Even though it's not a waterproof mascara, it never smudged on my lower lashlines. I have been using it for almost 3 months and the texture is as good as new, it's like I've opened the tube just yesterday. I think it's the first mascara I've ever used that even after it has been opened for 3 months, it hasn't dried up at all.
Application
This mascara gives me lots of length, especially when I work it on my lashes really well, I can create that beautiful "feather" look. It does give some volume too, but mostly length.
Something that really surprised me is that it really holds a curl, which is very difficult for me, unless I use a waterproof mascara which I hate, so for a non waterproof mascara I think it holds a curl really well! If you saw the rest of my mascara reviews that I did in the past, the L'oreal Mega Volume Collagene 24H Mascara , L'oreal Volume Million Lashes Excess or Maybelline The Rocket , which are also non waterproof mascaras, you can see a huge difference at how curled my lashes look, with the Loreal ones and the Maybelline too my lashes look pretty much completely straight comparable to the Sephora Lash Plumper! And for that reason and only this is a mascara that I will repurchase in the future for sure.

Price
When I bought it there was a deal at Sephora and I got it for 10 euros only. The original price is 15 euros, which is a good price in my opinion, it costs the same as a Maybelline mascara here in Greece. You can find it only at Sephora stores.
Pros
-It gives amazing length to the lashes.
-It holds a curl for hours, even though it's not a waterproof mascara.
-It has a very soft texture, not too wet and not too dry, you can brush the lashes lots of times before it starts to dry.
-Even after 3 months opened the texture is still as good as new.
-The price, at least the European one, is the same as other drugstore mascaras which is really good.
Cons
In my opinion, absolutely none! It's very difficult for me to admit that I can't find something bad to say about a mascara but literally I can't find anything with this one, it's perfect! Some people would find the misleading name as the bad part, because even though it says lash plumper you'd expect a mascara that gives more volume than length, but that's not the case with everyone. The fact that it doesn't give more volume to my lashes it doesn't mean that it's the same with everyone, we all have different lashes.
Rating: 10/10
Yep, I gave a 10/10 to a mascara because it's that good! It's a shame that it's not very popular in the beauty blogger community but in my opinion I think it's a mascara that deserves more attention. I think you should all try it and I will definitely repurchase it in the future.
I'm very intrested to know if any of you've tried this mascara, and what's your opinion about it.

Erre Due Volumizing Waterproof Mascara Review.
A couple of months ago I received this mascara from Erre Due, which is a greek company, to try it out and see if I like it or not and share my opinion about it. They also send me a blue one but the review is about the black one, since I never wear colored mascaras.
Brush - Texture
This mascara comes with a plastic brush, which is not too long or thick which I personally like, I prefer smaller brushes because they give me more control, this one grabs and brushes all my lashes really well. As you can see the spikes are longer on the outer end than the ones on the inner side, that gives to my lashes more of a feather look.
Now about the texture, when I first opened the mascara it was really and I mean really wet. It literally took 30 minutes to dry on my lashes, because everytime I was touching them my fingers was a complete mess, and that is something that is not suppose to happen with a waterproof mascara. It was very difficult to use it so I gave this mascara a month to dry out a bit so I can properly use it. After a month I noticed that the mascara still took a little time to dry out, but not 30 minutes like before, it took about 10 minutes, which is still a long time but I'm a patient person.
Application
Even though I had problems with the texture of this mascara, I really enjoyed the result! It gives length and amazing seperation to the lashes, it doesn't give much volume even though the mascara is called "volumizing", but to be honest I didn't expect it anyway because of the brush, brushes that are that small and plastic never manage to give volume to my lashes. But the most exciting thing, at least for me, is that it holds an amazing curl, I never experienced something like that with another mascara before! I always use an eyelash curler before I use a mascara, and after I use this one my lashes look even more curled and it stays on until I remove it, which is pretty amazing. Girls with straight lashes like me, know that finding a mascara that does that, is really hard to find. I know that waterproof mascaras are supposed to keep your lashes more curled than the regular ones but I've tried other waterproof mascaras in the past, even though I'm not a fan of them, and didn't give me that result.
Price
It retails for 14 euros and you can find it only in Greece at stores like Hondos Center and Galerie De Beaute. It's not a cheap mascara but all the drugstore/high street mascaras here have pretty much the same price, like the Loreal and Maybelline ones.
Pros
-It keeps my lashes really well curled, until I remove it.
- It gives a feather look.
-The brush is small and the spikes grab all the lashes and brush them.
Cons
My only and huge minus of this mascara is the texture. It has a really wet texture, it takes like forever to dry out, and you can really cause a mess on the lower lashlines. And even after a month it takes about 10 minutes to fully dry out.
Rating: 6/10
I didn't want to give this mascara such a low rating, because I really do love the result it gives, but the texture just ruins it all, and that's the main reason why I wouldn't buy it in the future. But another reason for not wanting to purchase it, is that I almost never wear waterproof mascaras, so I would barely use it.
If you've tried this mascara before, let me know your opinion about it.

L'oreal Mega Volume Collagene 24H Mascara Review.
It was about time to write a review about my absolute HG mascara, I didn't review it the first time I bought it last year, but I'm going to do it now. I have to say that L'oreal mascaras really impressed me this past year, they have the best drugstore mascaras, and they're even better than lots of high end ones.
Brush - Texture
The Mega Volume comes with a typical mascara brush, not a plastic one, which is good because I don't like plastic mascara brushes anyway, so that's a bonus for me. It's kind on the big side, but not extremely huge, like the ones that can poke your eyes and cause a mess on your lids everytime you try to apply even one coat of it. The bristles are not very dense, you can see there are gaps between them, and that helps a lot with defining the lashes, and the best part is that it doesn't clump, at all.
The texture is what I love the most about this mascara. It has a very soft texture like a mousse, it reminds me of the Maybelline Mega Plush mascara, not as soft as the Maybelline but close enough, and the old but discontinued here Maybelline Full n' Soft. I can wear it for hours and hours and not make my eyes hurt or make them watery, which is my main problem with mascaras, I can't stand heavy mascaras, they make my sensitive eyes watery and after a few hours they hurt. One more thing that I noticed is that with this mascara I can use a second coat, while with others I can't do it because their formula is too hard and I find it difficult to add a second coat, with the Mega Volume I don't have that problem. It's not a waterproof mascara but still it doesn't smudge on my lower lashlines, even now that is summertime.
Application
This mascara is mostly a volumizing one, even though I can see that it adds some length on my lashes as well. Here's a picture so you can see the results:
It definitely adds volume to my lashes and holds a curl, these are the two things that I look in a mascara! Also it's very easy to remove, I only use one cotton pad while with other mascaras I need 2 cotton pads for each eye.
Price
Here in Greece, it costs 18 euros, which is not that cheap, especially for a drugstore mascara. I got mine with a 3 euros off coupon, but even if I didn't have the coupon I'd still buy it anyway because I love it so much! You can find it at Hondos Center stores, Sephora, etc.
Pros
- It adds lots of volume on the lashes.
-It has a very soft texture that doesn't make my eyes hurt even after many hours of wearing it.
-It does hold a curl.
-It doesn't smudge throught the day.
-It's very easy to remove it.
Cons
-The price, it's somehow expensive to be a drugstore mascara.
Rating: 9/10
I would give this mascara a ten to ten if it wasn't for the price, but overall in my opinion the L'oreal Mega Vollume Collagene 24H mascara is the best drugstore volumizing mascara out there. I don't have to say a lot, besides that I absolutely love it!
I'm very curious to know if any of you have tried this mascara, because it's not very popular in the beauty blogger community. I want to know if you like it as much as I do!

Maybelline The Rocket Mascara Review
I promised you that I would review every single mascara that I'd try, it took me a while to write this review but I'm finally doing it now. I've been using Maybelline's The Rocket Mascara for three months and here are my thoughts about it.
Brush - Texture
The Rocket mascara comes with a plastic brush, and as you may already know I prefer my mascaras not to have plastic brushes, but since I'm addicted to anything new, I always like to try different mascaras even the ones with a plastic brush. The brush is not bendable like the L'oreal's Volume Million Lashes Excess one, which I reviewed here a few months back, it reminds me a lot of the Max Factor's False Lash Effect brush, it's short, thick and not bendable, with lots of tiny-short spikes.
The texture of the mascara is wet, it allows you to brush your lashes quite a few times before it dries out, but it's not as wet as other Maybelline mascaras that I've tried, like the Falsies which I find it to be too wet for my taste. But after this mascara dries out, it really makes my eyelashes super hard like a waterproof mascara does, and I don't like that. I have very sensitive eyes and I can't stand my lashes being hard, after a few hours I want to take it off because it hurts my eyes and they become very watery.
Application
This mascara definitely gives volume to my lashes, which for me is rare for a mascara with a plastic brush, but the tiny and short spikes do not help with the definition, I have to brush my lashes many times in order to achieve a good definition. Also the short brush does not help catch all my lashes at once, so I have to brush them back and forth, many times. Here are two pictures so you can see the difference, the first one is my lashes with no mascara on and the second picture is with one coat of The Rocket mascara.
As you can see in the first picture, my lashes with no mascara on are pretty much non-existent! At the second picture my lashes are definitely longer, super black and with more volume, but not as curled as I wanted them to be. My lashes may look curled in the picture, but that's because I took the picture right after I applied it, they fell down a bit after 20 minutes or so, wet mascaras tend to weight down my lashes even after I curled them with an eyelash curler. It doesn't smudge throught the day at all, and that's very good for summertime, you can have it on for hours. Something that is worth mentioned is that it's very hard for me to remove this mascara, even with a double-phase eye make up remover. I don't know why but it's like I'm trying to remove a waterproof mascara, it takes about 3 small cotton pads to remove it for each eye, which is crazy, and sometimes there's still some left on my eyelashes!
Price
The Rocket mascara in Greece retails for 15 euros, but you can always find it with a promo of 2 or 3 euros off. You can find it at super markets, Hondos Center stores, Sephora etc.
I got mine from Feelunique for only 8 euros!
Pros
-It adds volume and length, makes lashes super black.
-It doesn't smudge throught the day.
-Affordable drugstore/high street mascara, especially if you buy it online.
Cons
Not good for sensitive eyes. It makes my lashes very hard, after a few hours my eyes hurt and become watery.
-It's very hard to remove it, even with an eye make up remover that is made for waterproof mascaras.
-It doesn't hold the curl.
Rating: 7/10
I really like the results that this mascara gives on my lashes, it makes them really noticable, but the formula is just not for me. I have sensitive eyes and I want my mascaras to leave them light and soft.
But if you don't have that problem, and you like mascaras that makes your lashes voluminous and noticable I think that this is a really good mascara for you.
If you've tried The Rocket mascara from Maybelline let me know what you think about it, I wanna know!
