My Favourite Winter Nail Polishes 2014

Since Christmas is just around the corner, I wanted to share with you my HG wintery nail polish shades! If you don't know already I absolutely love dark reds and in general vampy shades on my nails, these are the shades that I tend to reach for again and again when it's winter. Unfortunately some of these shades were limited edition and very hard to find anymore, but I'm sure that you can find similar ones anywhere, from drugstore to salon brands.
Essie Lacy Not Racy
Essie is my favourite brand when it comes to red nail polishes, they know what they're doing! Lacy Not Racy is such a classic red, a vampy-deep red shade with a jelly finish, perfect for those who want their red nails look super glossy, like me.

Essie Wicked
One of Essie's most popular shade, a dark burgundy wine color that it almost look black. This one has also a very glossy finish, something that Essie is known for. If you love vampy shades then this one should definitely be in your collection.
Loreal Collection Exclusive Laetitia
From all the reds in the Loreal's Collection Exclusive Pure Reds this one is by far my favourite! Laetitia is a dark/vampy berry red shade with very fine glitters. You don't find often these kind of shades in the drugstore, I'm happy that Loreal makes one.

China Glaze Ruby Pumps
I saved the festive one for last since it's Christmas in just two days. Ruby Pumps is such a cult shade, a sparkly red with red microglitter and jelly finish, in my opinion the perfect red for Christmas time! Just a hint: in the sunlight it looks super sparkly!

Which are your favourite colors for winter/Christmas?

I hope you have a wonderful Christmas and we will talk again in the New Year!

Collective Haul - Iherb, Avene, Clinique, Seventeen, Radiant, Apivita.

Hello my lovelies, I'm back with a haul post this time, I think it's been more than a month since my last haul post. Last week I received all the goodies that I ordered from iherb, I've also bought a few bits and bobs mainly from the drugstore so I thought of doing a collective haul with all of them together.
 Let's see what I got!
Hugo Naturals Vanilla & Sweet Orange Body Lotion and Soap
I remember seeing in one of Lucy's video the shower gel from this line, and see said that it smelled like an orange cake, so I was really curious to try it but I went for the soap instead and a mini body lotion. I haven't try the soap yet but from the lotion's scent I'm not so sure if I like it or not, I was expecting more of an intense vanilla-orange scent but it has a very faint orange scent.

Dessert Essence Lemon Tea Tree Shampoo
This shampoo is also one of Lucy's recommendations, and I have to say that Lucy is such an enabler when it comes to iherb, but since I'm a sucker for anything that smells lemons I had to buy it! I haven't tested it yet, I'm going to use it as a clarifying/once a week shampoo and see if I like it or not, even though I'm not exactly sure if this is 100% a clarifying shampoo.
Jason Apricot Scrubble Facila Wash & Scrub
I was in search for a facial scrub, and I was reading so many good reviews for this Apricot scrub from Jason and to be honest it didn't take me too long to include it in my order, I love apricot scrubs! Until now I was using the St. Ives which I really love, but unfortunately it's not available in Greece. I thought that this one would be like the one from St. Ives, a typical creamy facial scrub but no, this  foams up like a facial wash. At first I was dissapointed because I never liked scrubs that is a mix of a cleansing gel and a scrub, they never exfoliated my skin as much as the creamy ones do. But this one is something different, it lathers but in a creamy way and that's what makes it special, it still feels and does the job of the St. Ives but it also cleanses my face without drying it out. Genious product for lazy mornings!

Alba Botanica Hawaiian Oil Free Moisturizer
I wasn't planning on getting this one but last month I noticed that my skin was breaking out for no particular reason, even on the days I wasn't using any make up at all and just my Frezyderm 24H moisturizer so I thought maybe my skin just can't tolerate that moisturizer anymore so I decided to try this one. I've been using it for a week now and I have to say that it's really good, it's still too early to tell that it won't break me out but overall I really like it. It's for the days that my skin is not oily neither normal or dry, it's perfect for combination skin because I can see that it can be a bit greasy for the oily gals and a bit too dry for the ones with drier skin.

Avene Cleanance Cleansing Gel
I run out of my HG cleansing gel so I had to get a new one and this time I found it in a special 300ml size with the same prize as the smaller one! I've talked about it so many times, perfect for combination/oily acne prone skintypes, I've been using it for many many years and I'm not gonna stop using it.

Clinique Clarifying Lotion #2
An essential product that I had to repurchase because I run out.  It's my HG from all the Clinique's Clarifying Lotions, because it suits my sensitive/combinations skin the most. I'm using it mostly on my bad skin days, whenever I'm having breakouts and things like that, because it really helps!
Apivita Propolis Face Mask
Best face mask for acne prone skins in the world! OK I know I'm a little too excited with this mask but this is the only one that actually works on my problematic skin. Whenever I'm having a break out, I'm using this one and on the next day my pimples has started to dry up.The best think about this mask is that it never dried up my skin like most of the face masks that are targeted for blemished skins do, it only dries up the pimples and that's genious because not everyone that is having break outs has oily skin. The only bad thing about this mask is that it really stinks, and I mean it!

Radiant Magna Lash Mascara
This is one of the most popular mascaras in Greece, everyone keeps raving about how dramatic it makes their lashes look. I've been using it for a week now and maybe that's just my first impression but I'm still not 100% convinced with this mascara. I mean yeah it does make my lashes look a bit dramatic, and that's propably because of the ridiculously huge brush it has and the amount of product it leaves on my lashes, but nothing too special. I'm not blessed with thick or very long lashes and maybe that's the problem, it propably works so well on girls that already have thicker or longer lashes than mine, but for me it does nothing more than any other mascara managed to do in the past. Maybe my expectations were too high with this mascara......I don't know.

Seventeen Natural Matte Silky Blushes #11 Natural Rose
This past year I've been obsessed with Seventeen's matte blushes because of their great pigmentation and their buttery soft texture, I really wish I could buy them all! This time I chose a shade that I'd be able to use it with any make up look, something that goes with everything and I think I made a good choice with this shade. Natural Rose is exactly what the name says, a natural pinky-muted rose shade, quite similar to Mac's Blushbaby which I also love, only lighter and a bit more pink. If you haven't try them yet, what are you waiting for? Just go and buy one!

Now if you've never ordered from iherb before, it's an amazing site that you can find any organic beauty brand you want, like Physician's Formula, Ecotools and the famous Real Techniques brushes which I absolutely love! Also any organic food you like from teas to protein bars, pretty much any organic brand you want, you can it find it in this site!
Now I have a special code that you can use and you will receive 10$ off your first order of $40 or more, or $5 off if your order is less than 40$, the code is TDZ975.

I hope that you enjoyed my really long haul post! Let me know if you've tried any of these products.

Essence I Love Extreme Crazy Volume Mascara Review.

Hello my lovelies! I'm back with yet another mascara review, I've been trying lots of new mascaras lately and I want to write reviews for all of them before Christmas time if that's possible. This review is about the most famous mascara from Essence, the I Love Extreme Crazy Volume Mascara which I'm sure lots of you have already used and love. But does it worth all the hype? Let's find out!
Brush/Formula
If you're not already familiar with this mascara, it has a really big/bulky plastic wand, in fact it's too big for my eyes that the first time I used it I actually poked my eye really bad, my eye was watering for a whole day, but I've learned my lesson, this mascara needs time and patience. It has lots of really small plastic bristles, I thought that they would help seperate my lashes well but they're not, I would prefer if they could be a little longer so they'd grab my lashes better. Now about the formula, I find the formula extremely dry, I though that this would be a a very wet mascara but I was so surprised when I first tried it, boy it was so hard to apply it! I don't know if that's the case with this mascara in general or is just my tube, let me know if you had the same problem as me.
Application
As I mentioned before, the formula is quite dry so it was kind of hard to work it on my lashes, also the really small bristles makes the whole application even harder. I need to coat my lashes with the brush many times so I can seperate them as much as possible, but the truth is that this mascara clumps! I thought that my previous mascara from Seventeen "The Stylist" clumped, but I was way too wrong, this one clumps way more. Besides all these problems the results are really dramatic, it gives lots of length and volume, it holds a curl for hours and doesn't smudge. So if you love dramatic lashes and in the same time don't mind them look clumpy, you will be very pleased with this one.

Price
It's such a cheap mascara, it costs only 3.5 euros, and let's be honest, you can't beat this price! In Greece you can find it at any store that sells Essence cosmetics, such as Hondos Center, Gallerie De Beaute etc.

Pros
-It gives a dramatic look to lashes, adds length and volume.

-It holds a curl for hours.

-The price is a huge plus, it costs only 3.5 euros!

Cons
-The wand is too big if you have small eyes, and you can easily poke your eye with it.

-It has a very dry formula which makes it hard to work it on the lashes.

-Besides the dramatic look it gives to the lashes, it clumps a lot.

Rating: 7/10
I know that many of you absolutely adore this mascara but unfortunately I wasn't impressed, I give it a 7/10 only because of the dramatic look it gives to my lashes and also because it holds a curl. I find the formula really bad and very hard to work with,  it doesn't compare at all with the Essence Get Big Lashes Waterproof mascara which I really liked. But I really want to know what's your experience with this mascara, did you like it or not? Let me know!

Empties - Products I've Used Up #5 - Part 2

As I mentioned in my previous post, this is the second part of my latest empties, all the make up products that I've used up lately and some more skincare stuff of course. I was going to write this post a bit earlier but I've been sick for the past 5 days and I was pretty much like a zombie inside my house all that time so please excuse the delay. OK soooo let's start!
Avene Eau Thermale Spring Water
My HG thermal water spray for many years now, I've used up so many of these bottles! An absolute summer must have for me, I can't not have this in my beach bag and when the weather is ridiculously hot is a life saver! Also it's perfect for those with sensitive skintype, it calms all the skin irritations.

 Clinique Anti-Blemish Solutions Clarifying Lotion
I've been using the Clinique #2 Clarifying lotion for almost seven years, and even though it's a product that many people hate, I actually really like it. It's not a product that I use everyday, I like using it whenever I'm having breakouts, I find that it really helps. I really like this one, the Anti-blemish Solutions, it's a little stronger than the #2  that I usually buy but it's great for when I'm having really bad skin days. I don't know, I may repurchase it again, propably in the summer time.

Frezyderm Moisturizing 24H Hydrating Cream
I know I know.....you've seen so many empty bottles of this moisturizer this past year, I've mentioned it countless times already, it's my HG moisturizer, the one that I always come back to. I'm not going to bother you anymore with it, if you want to know more you can read my full review on it here.
Frezyderm Eye Balm
When I first got this eye cream I used to hate it, it didn't  moisturize my under eye area at all, but that's when my skin around my eyes was super dry. I decided to give it a second chance around June when my skin became more oily again, I didn't have any problems with really dry and itchy skin around my eyes, and I was surprised that I actually really liked it! I've been using it in the summer and I found it very refreshing, it never felt heavy or greasy. I would definitely repurchase it but only for summertime. I have to mention that it did nothing for my under eye circles but then again I don't expect anything like that from an eye cream since my problem is genetic and nothing ever helps with that.

Clinique Repairwear Laser Focus Eye Cream
I don't know what possessed me into buying this eye cream since I don't have any problem with fine lines, propably it was a "late twenties" life crisis I had back then I don't know, but I absolutely hated this eye cream! It made me eyes super dry, the least I'd expect from an anti aging eye cream is to help with moisturizing the skin around the eyes becasue as we get older the skin around our eyes is becoming more dry. Such a dissapointing product from Clinique, I don't recommend this to anyone!

Kiehl's Creamy Eye Treatment with Avocado
OK to be honest this is a "forgotten" empty, and by forgotten I mean it was completely empty in my fridge for about.....two years.... please don't judge! If you want a super moisturizing eye cream then this one is definitely for you. It's so heavy that I could never used it under my concealer, for me it was a night eye cream only. If you want to know more, I've done a full review on it here.
Apivita Express Beauty Face Mask with Pomegranate
One of my HG Apivita face masks along with the Propolis one. It instantly gives a glow to my face, it makes me look more awake and fresh even many hours after I've used it. I've tried many masks that promised to give a "glowy" face but failed completely. This one is an absolute gem!

Sephora Smoothing and Brightening Concealer
For a year now I've been really into the highlighting concealers, I prefer these over the regular ones even though I have really bad dark eye circles, they make me look more awake. This one from Sephora was really good, it's the #05 and it has peachy undertones which is perfect for my dark circles problem, it's quite similar to the Mac Prep n' Prime Highlighter in Bright Forecast. If you want to know more about it, read this post I wrote a few months back about my concealer collection.
Clinique Even Better Make Up in Ivory
Two years ago this used to be my HG foundation, along with Mac's Pro Longwear, it's almost full coverage and it gives such an amazing flawless and glowy look to my face. It's not long lasting, it transfered after a few hours of wearing it, but that's not the main reason why I don't want to repurchase it again, it's because I'm over the whole thick and full coverage foundation phase now. I still love Mac's Pro Longwear foundation because it's not as thick as the Even Better, but the Pro Longwear is my limit, I won't buy a foundation that is thicker than the Mac one.

Maybelline Dream Pure BB Cream
Αctually this is not an empty product, more of a half empty product I would say, but I had to throw it away because it really broke me out and I wasn't going to use it anymore. Even though it's targeted for oily skintypes I find it quite dewy for my combination skin and I was using it at winter. The Garnier BB cream for oily skins way better than this one!
Maybelline The Colossal Go Extreme! Mascara
This one is propably my favourite Maybelline mascara, from all the ones that I've tried of course. It gives a feathery-soft look, perfect for everyday! You can read my full review on it here.

Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion
Urban Decay's Primer Potion was the very first eyeshadow primer I've ever tried back in 2006, it was sent to me as a gift from a friend in the UK and back then I had absolutely no idea what an eyeshadow primer was! But this one completely changed my mind about eye make up in general, when I was using it even the cheapiest eyeshadow looked amazing and lasted for hours. But even though it was my very first eye primer, I have to say that I love the Too Faced Shadow Insurance more because of the texture. This mini primer potion I was using came with the Urban Decay Naked palette I bought two years ago.

Mac Studio Finish Concealer NW25
I've tried almost all of the Mac concealers and this one was by far the one that I enjoyed using the most, but not anymore. When I first bought it I got it for my under my eyes, and back then I didn't have dry under eye area, so it was perfect for covering my bad dark circles. But after my skin became really dry I started using in on spots, pimples and stuff but the orangey shade was so wrong for my skintone, also it transfered like crazy, that's why I'm not going to repurchase it again.

Escada Cherry In The Air Perfume
I don't know how many of you love the summer limited edition Escada perfumes, or maybe I'm the only one? They're so fresh, fruity and summerish! This one, Cherry In The Air was a birthday gift from my mother last year and I've used it all up within a year.
Essence Get Big Lashes Waterproof  Mascara
One of my most favourite mascaras, even though it's waterproof I really loved it this summer, plus it's super affordable! You can read my review here, if you want to know more about it.

Essence Get Big Lashes Triple Black Mascara
As much as I loved the waterproof version of this mascara, this one I absolutely hated it! It irritated my eyes, and when Ι was wearing it it was like I had no mascara on. For me it was a real disappointment, I don't recomment buying it, get the waterproof one instead.

Loreal Mega Volume Miss Manga Mascara
This mascara was a bit meh for me. The very bendy wand it was really annoying, it didn't really give any volume or length to my lashes. You can read my full review on it here.

So that's everything, all the empty products that I've been collecting for a few months now, and please excuse the really long post, but I like giving you my full opinions on the products that I've used up.
Have you tried any of these products? Did you like them? Let me know!

Empties - Products I've Used Up #5 - Part 1

Hello my lovelies! As you can see from the title this is going to be an "empties" post, I recently realised that I haven't done one in ages, last time I wrote one was in May and since then I managed to collect two whole bags of empty products! So I thought that including them in only one post it would be too much, so I decided to split them in two parts. This first part is going to be about hair and skincare stuff, and the next one is going to be again about skincare and make up.
So let's start!
Soap and Glory Clean, Girls Body Wash
I got this huge shower gel last year when I visited London, the quality is amazing, very creamy and hydrating plus it has a masculine scent which is incredible unique. If I had access to these shower gels I would definitely buy one again.

Elvive Total Repair 5 Shampoo and Conditioner.
I don't have much of experience with Loreal's shampoos and conditioners, I find that this is an OK shampoo, I really liked the fact that it never made my hair greasy or dry, in my opinion it's perfect for normal hair, it's not moisturizing enough for drier hair. To be honest I liked the conditioner more, and I've already mentioned it in one of my monthly favourites post in the past, it made my hair super soft without making it feeling heavy or greasy.
Ausie Miracle Moist Shampoo and Conditioner.
It's very rare for a shampoo and conditioner to impress me but these two actually did it, I absolutely love them! Even though their name is "Miracle Moist" if you have dry hair you won't be pleased with the shampoo, it's not very moisturizing but for my normal to dry and fine hair it's moisturizing enough, and it leaves my hair really soft! I have to admit that I love the conditioner a bit more, and if I had to choose only one conditioner for the rest of my life it would be this one! It has a unique cream to gel texture but it manages to make my hair incredibly soft and detangled.

Sunsilk Nourishing Soft and Smooth Conditioner
I've tried almost every single of the Sunsilk conditioners and this one has got to be my favourite. I don't consider this as a conditioner but more of a deep conditioner or a mask because it's super hydrating, I've tried hair masks that hydrated my hair less than this baby did! But I had to be careful and use only a small amount of this otherwise it made my hair very greasy. I also loved the fact that it has an amazing warm scent, it must be the argan oil.
Proderm Sleep Easy Body Lotion
Yes I know that this is a baby body lotion, but I couldn't resist to the smell, it smells like..........I can't really describe it, but it smells like a baby and lavender, yeah I know I'm really bad at describing scents! It has quite a thick texture but it blends nicely into the skin and it never leaved a greasy feeling to my body. I recommend this to everyone that love baby lotion's smells in general, and to be honest with you I really want to buy the matching shower gel!

L'oreal Gentle Waterproof Eye Make Up Remover - Eyes and Lips
This is by far my HG drugstore duo-phase eye make up remover! It even managed to beat my previous favourite, the Johnson's Gentle Eye Make Up Removal Lotion. It removes any type of mascara very easy and it leaves my eye area hydrated, also it never irritated my eyes.
Johnson's Gentle Eye Make Up Removal Lotion
I've mentioned above that this used to be my HG favorite eye make up remover from the drugstore, and whenever I find it on sale I always grab one but to be honest it cannot beat the L'oreal waterproof one, and that's because is not as strong, it needs a bit more rubbing than the Loreal one to take off the eye make up. It's great for those who don't like the really oily dup-phase eye make up removers, and also for those who have sensitive eyes.

Pom Pon Make Up Removing Wipes for Sensitive Skin
I rarely use make up wipes to remove my face or eye make up, I prefer my Clinique Take The Day Off Cleansing Balm or a micellar water, but let's be honest, these wipes are so handy when you're away on holiday! So whevener I go away on a trip I always choose these ones, the Pom Pon Soothing & Regenerating for sensitive skin. They're the best ones from all the make up removing wipes I've tried in the past, they never irritated my skin or my eyes like most wipes do and they're extremely wet, even after one month opened they're still very wet and that's quite impressing.
Avene Cleanance Gel Cleansing Gel
If you're reading my blog long enough you'd propably already know that I'm using this cleansing gel for many many years and I've been through countless bottles of this baby. My skin changes quite a few times within a year, from super to oily to combination to dry, but since last spring my skin has been quite oily so I started using this cleansing gel again, it's the only one I trust for my acne prone skin.

Seventeen Specifics 2-Phase Eye and Lip Make Up Remover
Yeah I know, another eye make up remover but I go through them really quick so once in a while I like to try different ones. This one from Seventeen really dissapointed me, even though it's quite oily it failed to remove my eye make up quickly, and it's quite expensive for a drugstore eye make up remover so I don't recommend this one, the Loreal and Johnson's ones are way better.

So that was the first part of my empties post, let me know if you've tried any of the these products, if you liked them or not. The second part with more skincare and make up stuff will be up really soon!

Seventeen The Stylist Mascara Review.

Hello my lovelies! I'm back with the mascara reviews, and this time is about one that I purchased in July but I never showed it in a haul post, it's from a greek "drugstore" type of brand, called Seventeen. I don't have much experience with their mascaras I've only tried one in the past, the X-Traordinaire but I didn't like it at all. Let's see what are my thoughts about this one, "The Stylist".
Brush/Formula
This mascara has the standard/old school brush, with a full set of bristles really packed together. The size of the brush is more of  a small to medium size which I find really good if you have small eyes or short lashes. I have noticed that a lot of mascara comes out with every dip, so I have to be careful and wipe some product onto a tissue before using it. This brush is not the best for defining lashes, it gives volume and length but it also clumps. It has a very waxy, and almost "mousse" type of texture, and that's also a reason why it clumps.
Application
It's not a very wet mascara, so it doesn't weigh down my lashes, but it doesn't really hold a curl for hours. I really love that feather-look it gives to the outer corner of my lashes, it makes my eyes look like they have more of an "almond" shape. As you can see it gives a bit of volume and length, but I'd say it's more of a volumizing mascara, I can see that my lashes look more full, especially on the roots. And I also have to mention that it's super black!

Price
It costs 12 euros, I'd say that it's not super cheap neither too expensive for a "drugstore" type of mascara. In Greece you can find it at any Hondos Center or Gallerie De Beaute store.

Pros
-It adds volume and length to the lashes.

-It's winging out the outer corners of the lashes creating a feathered look.

-It's super black.

Cons
It clumps, even with only one coat.

Rating: 9/10
Overall I really like this mascara, I really love the soft voluminous look it gives to my lashes and to be quite honest I don't mind the clumping. For me it's a great everyday mascara, of course you can built it up to a more dramatic look but it will clump like crazy. I may repurchase it in the future and I really wanna try more mascaras from Seventeen.

Have you tried the Seventeen The Stylist mascaras?  Did you like it?
Let me know!

Drugstore Make Up Haul - Catrice, Essence, Bourjois and L'oreal.

Fall season is here and I'm back doing haul posts again, actually I haven't done a haul post in a while, I think my last one was in July. I've bought a few drugstore goodies last week, some of them are from Catrice and it's the first time I'm trying anything from this brand, so I wanted to share them with you. I always love a good drugstore haul post, don't you? Let's see what I got!
Catrice Prime and Fine Pore Refining Anti-Shine Base
If you're reading my blog for a long time you'd propably already know that I rarely use face primers, and that's because they never do anything for the longevity of my face makeup neither they do anything for my oily areas, but this one was  really cheap and it's a Catrice best seller so I said why not? So far I've only used it once so I don't have a full opinion on it yet, but there's one thing that I'm sure of, this one isn't a pore filling primer, it doesn't have that silicone feeling, which to be honest I prefer! I'll have to put it to the test a few more times to see if it helps at all with my oiliness.

Catice Multi Colour Blush in080 Peach Frappucino
I never buy multi colored blushes, but I was really curious to see how all these colors would combine into one blush shade, peach and muted pinks-such an intresting combination. When I swatched it on my hand it looked like a warm pink, but on my face it transforms into a warm peach shade with just a hint of pink, for me this is the perfect fall peach shade.

Catrice Absolut Eye Colour in 630 Fancy A Coppa Tea?
From all the eyeshadows they had in the Catrice display this was the only color that caught my eye, and it has such a catchy name, don't you think? It's a shimmery gold-champagne shade, on my hand it looks more gold than it looks on my lids and that's because my lids have a natural brown tint so it transforms to a beautiful -all over the lids- champagne shade.

Here are swatches of both, blush and eyeshadow:
Bourjois Volume 1 Seconde Waterproof Mascara
I've been looking for this mascara for over a month now but the waterproof version was always sold out, I finally found one and I grabbed it right away! I haven't tried it yet, but I've read amazing reviews for both the waterproof and the non-waterproof version. I got the waterproof one because I'm sure it will hold a curl for hours, I only hope it won't be a completely nightmare to remove it.

Essence I Love Extreme Crazy Volume Mascara
After trying the Essence Get Big Lashes Waterproof Mascara which I completely love, I was curious on trying more mascaras from Essence, and this one is one of their best selling mascaras. I've tried it a couple of times, I'm not a huge fan of the really huge plastic brush it has, because the first time I used it I poked my eye with it and it really hurt for a whole day. But I really like the results it gives to my lashes, it doesn't give much of a volume but it makes them super long and curled.

Essence I Love Stage Eyeshadow Base
I've been using the Too Faced Shadow Insurance Primer for years and years and before that the Urban Decay Primer Potion, so I don't have much of experience with drugstore eyeshadow primers but this one is very popular and I really liked the fact that is tinted that's why I bought it. I've been using it for quite a while now and it's not comparable to the high end eyeshadow primers, it doesn't hold my eyeshadows for more than 3 hours, but I do like the fact that it's tinted because it neutralizes the brown tint on my lids, I may try and use it on top of my Too Faced one just for the tint!
L'oreal Collection Exclusive By Leticia Color Riche Nail Polish
L'oreal released an exclusive collection with lipsticks and nail polishes in various shades of red, I'm a huge "red nail polish" lover especially when it's a fall season, and this one is the perfect dark "vampy" red shade! It's a combination between dark red and plum, isn't this just perfect?
I really wanna buy more shades from this collection!

Essence Studio Nails XXL Nail Thickener
I was looking for a ridge filler for my nails, and  when I saw the name "XXL nail thickener" I thought that this base might do the same job, and in a way it does but the consistency of the product is different. It has a sheer off-white shade but it's very glossy and thick, like a gel nail polish. I really like this gel consistency for my toes, it creates a really good and thick base.

Essence Studio Nails pro White Rose
I'm still not sure if this is a base coat or an actual sheer nail polish, nevertheless it's amazing on its own and on top of the XXL Nail Thickener, it has a a very sheer pink tint that makes my nails look more fresh and polished. It's the best solution when I'm super lazy to do a full manicure, I just use this and I'm done!

So that's all the drugstore goodies I bought last week, I know they're not all new or seasonal products but they're new to me and I would love to know if you've tried any of these, and if you like them or not.

Summer 2014 Favorites.

Long time no see my lovelies, I hope you all had an amazing summer! In August I took a long break from blogging mostly because half of the month I was away on vacation, at the beautiful Naxos island, which is amazingly beautiful and dreamy. But it was time to get back into blogging again, and since summer is not completely over yet in Greece, I thought it was a great opportunity to show you all the beauty products I used the most in the summertime.
 Sunsilk Sensational Curls Leave-In Cream
In my opinion this is the best curl cream out there, hands down! I have naturally wavy/curly thin hair, I've tried many curling creams in my life, from salon and drugstore brands but this one is the best I've found for my hairtype. It defines them so well without feeling sticky or weight down my hair, and you cannot beat the price, it costs only 2.5 euros.

Garnier Fructis Surf Hair Paste
I've always had a love-hate relantionship with styling products, I've tried so many, from mousses to hair gels and sea salt sprays to try and make my curls look more defined and last for more than a few hours, and none of them could do what this God sent product can do! It creates the most beautiful and texturized curls I've ever seen, especially if I use it with the Sunsilk leave-in cream! I only use a small amount of this paste on really wet hair, if I use a lot my hair's sticky as hell. If you have thin/frizzy curly hair and sea salt sprays do not work on your hair you should definitely try this one, trust me.

Clinique Take The Day Off Cleansing Balm
OK I should be honest with you, but when I first bought this cleansing balm I hated it, I was trying to use it as a one step cleanser whenever my skin was feeling more dry but that didn't work. I decided to give it a second chance now that my skin is oily again and I completely love it, but I always use a seperate cleansing gel afterwards. It saved my skin from all the sunscreen that I was using this summer, I've never felt my skin more clean than when I started using this balm, it does an amazing job at removing heavy make up and waterproof sunscreens.
Sephora "Sol De Rio" Bronzing Powder
Bronzer of my choice for this summer was this amazing limited edition one from Sephora, it's very subtle nothing too much, completely matte and perfect for everyday use. You can see a swatch here.

Revlon Nearly Naked Powder
I was very much into powders this summer, sometimes I was just using some concealer and a powder on my face. In my stash I found this one from Revlon which I purchased last year when I visited London, it's a tone darken than my skintone but now that I'm a bit tanned it matches me perfectly. And as you can see I've used a lot of it because I hit pan only after two months of using it.

Mac Peaches Blush
This is the only blush that I've seen using for two months now, it's the perfect true matte peach blush for the summer. If you have warm skintone you have to try it!
Mac Prep and Prime Highlighter in Bright Forecast
I love use highlighting pens as undereye concealer when the weather is hot, even though they doesn't cover as well as a regular concealer. This one has a peach shade that neutralizes my dark brown undereye circles, it makes me look more awake and fresh, and that's more than enought for me.

Essence Get Big Lashes Waterproof Mascara
I was blown away by this mascara, I never thought that such a cheap mascara would give to my lashes so much curl and length. You can see my full review on it here.
NYX Butter Gloss in Apple Strudel
I love using peachy glosses at summer, and this one was just perfect because it's super glossy and doesn't have any shimmers in it. It looks amazing over any peachy and coral lipstick but I loved using it on it's own for a fresh everyday look.

Mac Flamingo Lipstick
I have so many peachy lipsticks, but this summer Flamingo was my number one choice. It's more of a neon coral pink, and it looked amazing even when I wasn't wearing anything else on my face. You can see a swatch here.

L'oreal Color Riche "Lemon Meringue" Nail Polish
I never thought I'd say that a pastel nail polish was my top shade for the summer but it's true! I always go for reds and corals but this one changed my mind! It's not the traditional opaque white nail polish, it has a light yellow-lemonish tint into it that makes it special. Also it looks amazing on toes when you're tanned.

So these were all the beauty products that I loved the most this summer. Have you tried any of those?
